عبیداللہ بن معاذ عنبری نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں میرے والد نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نےفرات قزاز سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے ابو طفیل سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو سریحہ حذیفہ بن اسید رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ فُرَاتٍ الْقَزَّازِ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غُرْفَةٍ وَنَحْنُ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُ فَاطَّلَعَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ مَا تَذْكُرُونَ قُلْنَا السَّاعَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَا تَكُونُ حَتَّى تَكُونَ عَشْرُ آيَاتٍ خَسْفٌ بِالْمَشْرِقِ وَخَسْفٌ بِالْمَغْرِبِ وَخَسْفٌ فِي جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَالدُّخَانُ وَالدَّجَّالُ وَدَابَّةُ الْأَرْضِ وَيَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَطُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا وَنَارٌ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ قُعْرَةِ عَدَنٍ تَرْحَلُ النَّاسَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ لَا يَذْكُرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ و قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا فِي الْعَاشِرَةِ نُزُولُ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ و قَالَ الْآخَرُ وَرِيحٌ تُلْقِي النَّاسَ فِي الْبَحْرِ.
English Translation
Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was in an apartment and we were beneath that, that he peeped in and said to us: What are you discussing about? We said: (We are discussing about the Last) Hour. Thereupon he said: The Last Hour would not come until the ten signs appear: land-sliding in the east, and land-sliding in the west, and land-sliding in the peninsula of Arabia, the smoke, the Dajjal, the beast of the earth, Gog and Magog, the rising of the sun from the west and the fire which would emit from the lower part of 'Adan. Shu'ba said that 'Abdul-'Aziz bin Rufai' reported on the authority of Abu Tufail who reported on the authority of Abu Sariha رضی اللہ عنہ a hadith like this that Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) did not make a mention of (the tenth sign) but he said that out of the ten one was the descent of Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon him), and in another version it is the blowing of the violent gale which would drive the people to the ocean.
Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بالا خانے میں تھے اور ہم آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نیچے کی طرف بیٹھے ہوئے تھے ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہماری طرف جھانک کر دیکھا اور فرمایا : "" تم کس بات کا ذکر کررہے ہو؟ "" ہم نے عرض کی قیامت کا ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" جب تک دس نشانیاں ظاہر نہیں ہوں گی ، قیامت نہیں آئے گی : مشرق میں زمین کا دھنسنا ، مغرب میں زمین کا دھنسنا اور جزیرہ عرب میں زمین کا دھنسنا ، دھواں ، دجال ، زمین کا چوپایہ ، یاجوج ماجوج ، مغرب سے سورج کا طلوع ہونا اورایک آگ جو عدن کے آخری کنارے سے نکلے گی اور لوگوں کو ہانکے گی ۔ "" شعبہ نے کہا : عبدالعزیز بن رفیع نے مجھے بھی ابو طفیل سے اور انھوں نے ابوسریحہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے اسی کےمانند روایت کی ، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ذکر نہیں کیا ( موقوف حدیث بیان کی ) اور ( مجھے حدیث سنانے والے فرات اور عبدالعزیز ) دونوں میں سے ایک نے دسویں ( نشانی ) کے بارے میں کہا : عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہ السلام کانزول اور دوسرے نے کہا : ایک ہوا ( آندھی ) ہوگی جو لوگوں کو سمندر میں پھینکے گی ۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَيْقَظَ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدْ اقْتَرَبَ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذِهِ وَعَقَدَ سُفْيَانُ بِيَدِهِ عَشَرَةً قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ.
Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) got up from sleep saying: There is no being worthy of worship except Allah; there is a destruction in store for Arabia because of turmoil which is at hand, the barrier of Gog and Magog has opened so much. And Sufyan made a sign of ten with the help of his hand (in order to indicate the width of the gap) and I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be perished in spite of the fact that there would be good people amongst us? Thereupon he said: Of course, but only when the evil predominates.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَشْعَثِيُّ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَزَادُوا فِي الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ فَقَالُوا عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ.
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zainab bint Jahsh رضی اللہ عنہا with a slight variation in the chain of transmitters.
Zainab bint Jahsh رضی اللہ عنہا, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) reported:
حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَخْبَرَتْهَا أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا فَزِعًا مُحْمَرًّا وَجْهُهُ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدْ اقْتَرَبَ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذِهِ وَحَلَّقَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ الْإِبْهَامِ وَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ.
One day Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came out in a state of excitement with his face quite red. And he was saying: There is no god but Allah; there is a destruction in store for Arabia because of the turmoil which is near at hand as the barrier of Gog and Magog has been opened like it, and he (in order to explain it) made a ring with the help of his thumb and forefinger. I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be destroyed despite the fact that there would be pious people amongst us? He said: Yes, when evil would be predominant.
و حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ و حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِإِسْنَادِهِ.
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with a different chain of transmitters.
