و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ وَهُرَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ و حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قَالُوا أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ النَّضْرِ أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي أَبُو قَتَادَةَ وَفِي حَدِيثِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ أُرَاهُ يَعْنِي أَبَا قَتَادَةَ وَفِي حَدِيثِ خَالِدٍ وَيَقُولُ وَيْسَ أَوْ يَقُولُ يَا وَيْسَ ابْنِ سُمَيَّةَ.

Urdu Translation

اردو

مجھ سے محمد بن معاذ بن عباد الانباری اور حریم بن عبد الاعلٰی نے بیان کیا, اور خالد بن حارث اور نضر بن شمیل دونوں نے شعبہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے ابو مسلمہ سے اسی سند کے ساتھ اسی طرح روایت کی ، البتہ نضر کی حدیث میں ہے ۔ مجھے مجھ بہتر شخص ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبردی ۔ اور خالد بن حارث کی حدیث میں ہے کہ انھوں نے کہا :میراخیال ہے ان کی مراد ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے تھی ۔ اور خالد کی حدیث میں ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرمانے لگے ۔ افسوس! یا فرمایا وائےافسوس ابن سمیہ پر!

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

This hadith has been transmitted on the same authority but with this variation that the hadith transmitted on the authority of Nabra (the words are): One who is better than I informed me, and he was Abu Qatada رضی اللہ عنہ , and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Khalid instead of the word 'bu'us' there is 'wayys' or 'ya wayys', i.e., how sad it is .
