Narrated by It was narrated that Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ said:

ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے محمد نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، پھر انہوں نے عباس الجریری سے ایک لفظ ذکر کیا، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا,ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِثَلَاثٍ:‏‏‏‏ الْوِتْرِ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ،‏‏‏‏ وَرَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ،‏‏‏‏ وَصَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

میرے خلیل صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے تین باتوں کی نصیحت کی :شروع رات میں وتر پڑھنے کی، فجر کی رکعت سنت پڑھنے کی ، اور ہر مہینہ تین دن کے روزے رکھنے کی۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

My closest friend advised me to do three things: 'To pray witr at the beginning of the night, to pray two rak'ahs of Fajr and to fast three days of each month.'
