ہم سے ربیع بن سلیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے حجاج بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے ابن وہب نے عمرو بن حارث سے اور عبدالرحمٰن بن قاسم کے واسطہ سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی, عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَنْصَرِفَ فَارْكَعْ بِوَاحِدَةٍ تُوتِرُ لَكَ مَا قَدْ صَلَّيْتَ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :رات کی نماز دو دو رکعت ہے، پھر جب تم ختم کرنے کا ارادہ کرو تو ایک رکعت اور پڑھ لو، یہ جو تم نے پڑھی ہے سب کو ( طاق ) کر دے گی ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Prayer at night is two by two, then when you want to finish, pray one rak'h which will make the total number that you prayed odd.
