Narrated by It was narrated from Ibrahim bin Muhammad that: He heard his father narrating that he heard Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا say:
مجھ سے احمد بن عبداللہ بن الحکم نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے محمد بن جعفر نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا, ابراہیم بن محمد سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے اپنے والد کو بیان کرتے سنا کہ انہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے سنا ہے کہ

أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدَعُ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ: هَذَا الصَّوَابُ عِنْدَنَا، وَحَدِيثُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ خَطَأٌ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ.
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر سے پہلے کی چار رکعتیں، اور فجر سے پہلے کی دو رکعتیں نہیں چھوڑتے تھے۔ ابو عبدالرحمٰن ( نسائی ) کہتے ہیں :ہمارے نزدیک صحیح یہی ہے، اور عثمان بن عمر کی ( پچھلی ) روایت غلط ہے، واللہ اعلم۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would not omit four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs before Fajr. Abu Abdur Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: this is what is correct, in our view, and the narration of 'Uthman bin Umar is a mistake, and Allah most high knows best.
