ہم سے اسماعیل بن مسعود نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سعید بن عبید اللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا: میں نے زیاد بن جبیر کو اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہوئے سنا, مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قال: سَمِعْتُ زِيَادَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجَنَازَةِ، وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا، وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :سوار جنازے کے پیچھے رہے، پیدل چلنے والا اس کے ( آگے پیچھے دائیں بائیں ) جس طرف چاہے رہے، اور شیرخوار بچہ کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی جائے گی۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah said: The rider should move behind the Janazah and the pedestrian may walk wherever he wishes, and the (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.
