عمرو بن یزید المعروف ابوبرید الجرمی، جو بصری ہیں، نے ہم سے بہز کی سند سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہم سے شعبہ نے، سلمہ کی سند سے، ابو الحکم کی سند سے بیان کیا, عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَزِيدَ هُوَ أَبُو بُرَيْدٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ بَصْرِيٌّ، عَنْ بَهْزٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام، فَقَالَ: الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ يَوْمًا .
Urdu Translation
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :میرے پاس جبرائیل علیہ السلام آئے اور انہوں نے کہا: مہینہ انتیس دن کا بھی ہوتا ہے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Prophet said: Jibril, peace be upon him, came to me and said: 'The month is twenty-nine days. '
