ہم سے محمد بن مثنیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے ابن ابی عدی نے اپنی کتاب سے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے محمد بن المثنیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے ابن ابی عدی نے حافظہ سے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے محمد بن عمرو نے ابن شہاب کی سند سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابن شہاب کی سند سے,ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قال: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ هَذَا مِنْ كِتَابِهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ مِنْ حِفْظِهِ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ كَانَتْ تُسْتَحَاضُ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ دَمَ الْحَيْضِ دَمٌ أَسْوَدُ يُعْرَفُ فَإِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ فَأَمْسِكِي عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِذَا كَانَ الْآخَرُ فَتَوَضَّئِي وَصَلِّي ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ: قَدْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، لَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ مَا ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ.
English Translation
Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish رضی اللہ عنہا suffered from Istihadah (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to her: Menstrual blood is blood that is black and recognizable, so if it is like that, then stop praying, and if it is otherwise, then perform Wudu' and pray. Abu 'Abdur-Rahman said: Others reported this Hadith, and none of them mentioned what Ibn Abi 'Adi mentioned. And Allah Most High, knows best.
Urdu Translation
فاطمہ بنت ابوحبیش رضی اللہ عنہا کو استحاضہ آتا تھا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: حیض کا خون سیاہ ہوتا ہے اور پہچان لیا جاتا ہے، تو جب یہ خون ہو تو نماز سے رک جاؤ، اور جب دوسرا ہو تو وضو کر کے نماز پڑھو ۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن نسائی کہتے ہیں کہ اس حدیث کو کئی راویوں نے روایت کیا ہے، لیکن جو چیز ابن ابوعدی نے ذکر کی ہے اس کو کسی نے ذکر نہیں کیا، واللہ تعالیٰ اعلم، ( یعنی «دم الحیض دم أسود» کا ذکر کسی اور نے اس سند سے نہیں کیا ہے ) ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ that:
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ، فَلَا يَغْمِسْ يَدَهُ فِي وَضُوئِهِ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَهَا ثَلَاثًا، فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ .
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any one of you wakes from sleep, let him not dip his hand in (the water he uses for) his Wudu' until he has washed it three times, for none of you knows where his hand spent the night.
It was narrated that Huthaifah رضی اللہ عنہ said:
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ يَشُوصُ فَاهُ بِالسِّوَاكِ .
When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) got up at night, he would brush his mouth with the Siwak.
It was narrated that Abu Musa رضی اللہ عنہ said:
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَسْتَنُّ وَطَرَفُ السِّوَاكِ عَلَى لِسَانِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: عَأْ عَأْ .
I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he was using the Siwak, and the end of the Siwak was on his toungue, and he was saying, 'A','a'.
It was narrated from Abu Burdah that Abu Musa رضی اللہ عنہ said:
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَقْبَلْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعِي رَجُلَانِ مِنَ الْأَشْعَرِيِّينَ، أَحَدُهُمَا عَنْ يَمِينِي وَالْآخَرُ عَنْ يَسَارِي وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَاكُ فَكِلَاهُمَا سَأَلَ الْعَمَلَ قُلْتُ: وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيًّا، مَا أَطْلَعَانِي عَلَى مَا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمَا وَمَا شَعَرْتُ أَنَّهُمَا يَطْلُبَانِ الْعَمَلَ، فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى سِوَاكِهِ تَحْتَ شَفَتِهِ قَلَصَتْ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّا لَا أَوْ لَنْ نَسْتَعِينَ عَلَى الْعَمَلِ مَنْ أَرَادَهُ، وَلَكِنْ اذْهَبْ أَنْتَ ، فَبَعَثَهُ عَلَى الْيَمَنِ ثُمَّ أَرْدَفَهُ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا.
I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was using the Siwak and with me were two men of the Ash'aris - one on my right and the other on my left - who were seeking to be appointed as officials. I said: 'By the One Who sent you as a Prophet with the truth, they did not tell me why they wanted to come with me and I did not realize that they were seeking to be appointed as officials.' And I could see his Siwak beneath his lip, then it slipped and he said: 'We do not' - or; 'We will never appoint as an official anyone who seeks that. Rather you should go.' So he sent his (Abu Musa) to Yemen, then he sent Mu'adh bin Jabal رضی اللہ عنہم to go after him - may Allah be pleased with them.
