ہم سے اسحاق بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں سفیان نے زہری کی سند سے، صفوان بن عبداللہ نے ام الدرداء کی سند سے خبر دی, کعب بن عاصم رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ .
Urdu Translation
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا :سفر میں روزہ رکھنا نیکی نہیں ہے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
I heard the Messenger of Allah say ﷺ ; 'It is not righteousness to fast when traveling. '
