Narrated by It was narrated that 'Aishah رضی الله عنہا, the mother of the Believers, said:
ہم سے اسحاق بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے وکیع نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے طلحہ بن یحییٰ نے اپنی خالہ عائشہ بنت طلحہ سے روایت کی, ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ شَيْءٌ ؟ ، قُلْنَا: لَا، قَالَ: فَإِنِّي صَائِمٌ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک دن میرے پاس تشریف لائے اور پوچھا :تمہارے پاس ( کھانے کی ) کوئی چیز ہے؟ ہم نے کہا: نہیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: تو میں روزہ سے ہوں۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came to me one day and said: 'Do you have anything (to eat) we said: 'No.' he said: 'Then I am fasting.
