Narrated by It was narrated from Hafsah رضی الله عنہا that:
مجھ سے زکریا بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے حسن بن عیسیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے ابن مبارک نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے معمر نے زہری کی سند سے، حمزہ بن عبداللہ سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے, ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنِي زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، قَالَتْ: لَا صِيَامَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يُجْمِعْ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ .
Urdu Translation
اس شخص کا روزہ نہیں جو فجر سے پہلے روزہ کی پختہ نیت نہ کر لے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
There is no fast for one who does not intend (to fast) before dawn.
