Narrated by It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar رضی الله عنہ said:
ہم سے محمد بن عبد الاعلٰی نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے معتمر نے بیان کیا، کہا: میں نے عبید اللہ کو نافع سے سنا, عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: إِذَا لَمْ يُجْمِعِ الرَّجُلُ الصَّوْمَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلَا يَصُمْ .
Urdu Translation
جب آدمی نے رات ہی میں روزہ کی پختہ نیت نہ کی ہو تو وہ روزہ نہ رکھے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
If a man does not intend to fast from the night before, he should not fast.
