ہم سے علی بن حجر نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں اسماعیل نے الجریری کی سند سے، یزید بن عبداللہ بن الشخیر نے اپنے بھائی مطرف کی سند سے، عمران بن حصین رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ، قَالَ: قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ! إِنَّ فُلَانًا لَا يُفْطِرُ نَهَارًا الدَّهْرَ، قَالَ: لَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ .
Urdu Translation
عرض کیا گیا :اللہ کے رسول! فلاں شخص کبھی دن کو افطار نہیں کرتا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس نے نہ روزہ رکھا، نہ افطار کیا۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, so and so never broke his fast, even for one day for the rest of his life.' He said: 'He has neither fasted nor broken his fast.
