Narrated by Abu 'Uthman reported from a man, that:
ہم سے محمد بن حاتم نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے حبان نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے عبداللہ نے عاصم کی سند سے بیان کیا, ابوعثمان ایک شخص سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا حِبَّانُ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: مَنْ صَامَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، فَقَدْ تَمَّ صَوْمُ الشَّهْرِ، أَوْ فَلَهُ صَوْمُ الشَّهْرِ ، شَكَّ عَاصِمٌ .
Urdu Translation
ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا :جس نے ہر مہینے میں تین روزہ رکھے تو اس نے ( گویا ) پورے مہینے کے روزہ رکھے، یا یہ ( فرمایا ) : اس کے لیے پورے مہینے کے روزہ کا ثواب ہے، عاصم راوی کو یہاں شک ہوا ہے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
Abu Dharrr رضی اللہ عنہ said: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say: Whoever fasts three days of each month has fasted the month in full' or 'will have (the reward of) fasting the month. ' 'Asim was in doubt.
