Narrated by It was narrated that Muawiyah رضی الله عنہ said:
ہم سے محمد بن یحییٰ بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے عبدالرزاق نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں معمر نے ابن طاؤس سے، اپنے والد سے اور ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے خبر دی ہے, معاویہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: قَصَّرْتُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمَرْوَةِ بِمِشْقَصِ أَعْرَابِيٍّ .
Urdu Translation
میں نے مروہ پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بال ایک اعرابی کے تیر کے پھل سے کترے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
I cut the hair of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم at Al-Marwah with the edge of a Bedouin arrow.
