ہمیں محمود بن خالد نے خبر دی، کہا: ہمیں عمر نے الاوزاعی سے روایت کیا، جنہوں نے کہا: مجھے محمد بن علی بن حسین نے روایت کیا، کہا: مجھے سعید بن المسیب نے روایت کیا، کہا:عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَرْجِعُ فِي صَدَقَتِهِ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ يَرْجِعُ فِي قَيْئِهِ فَيَأْكُلُهُ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :صدقہ دے کر جو شخص واپس لے لیتا ہے اس کی مثال کتے کی طرح ہے، کتا قے کرتا ہے اور پھر دوبارہ اپنے قے کیے ہوئے کو کھا لیتا ہے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The likeness of the one who takes back his gift, is that of a dog which goes back to its vomit and eats it.'
