Narrated by It was narrated from Zaid bin Thabit رضی الله عنہ that:
ہمیں محمد بن عبد الاعلیٰ نے خبر دی، کہا: ہمیں خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں شعبہ نے عمرو بن دینار سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے طاؤس کو بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا: زید بن ثابت رضی الله عنہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ طَاوُسًا يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: الْعُمْرَى هِيَ لِلْوَارِثِ .
Urdu Translation
آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :عمریٰ وارث کا حق ہے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Umra (a gift given for life) belongs to the heir.
