Narrated by It was narrated that Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ said:

اسحاق بن ابراہیم نے ہمیں خبر دی، کہا: یعلیٰ بن عبید نے ہمیں خبر دی، انہوں نے اعمش سے، انہوں نے ابوسفیان سے، انہوں نے جابر سے روایت کی۔ اور (نیز) ابوصالح سے بھی, ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ. ح وَعَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا:‏‏‏‏ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا،‏‏‏‏ مَنَعُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ الا اللہ نہ کہیں، پھر جب وہ اسے کہہ لیں تو انہوں نے مجھ سے اپنا خون اور اپنے مال محفوظ کر لیے مگر اس کے ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے، اور ان کا حساب اللہ تعالیٰ پر ہے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] said: 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say La ilaha illallah. If they say it, then their blood and wealth are prohibited for me, except for a right that is due, and their reckoning will be with Allah.'
