Narrated by It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہما said:

ہمیں محمد بن رافع نے خبر دی، کہا: ہمیں ابو احمد الزبیری نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں شریک نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے اعمش سے، انہوں نے ابو الضحیٰ سے، اور انہوں نے مسروق سے روایت کیا, عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ لَا يُؤْخَذُ الرَّجُلُ بِجِنَايَةِ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا جِنَايَةِ أَخِيهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا خَطَأٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالصَّوَابُ مُرْسَلٌ.

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :تم لوگ میرے بعد کافر نہ ہو جانا کہ تم آپس میں ایک دوسرے کی گردن مارنے لگو، آدمی کو نہ اس کے باپ کے گناہ کی وجہ سے پکڑا جائے گا اور نہ ہی اس کے بھائی کے گناہ کی وجہ سے۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن نسائی کہتے ہیں: یہ غلط ہے ( کہ یہ متصل ہے ) صحیح یہ ہے کہ یہ مرسل ہے ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] said: 'Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another). No man is to be punished for the sins of his father, or for the sins of his brother.' Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: This is is a mistake, and what is correct is that it is Mursal.
