Narrated by It was narrated that Kab bin Ujrah رضی اللہ عنہ said:
ہمیں عمرو بن علی نے خبر دی، کہا: ہمیں یحییٰ نے سفیان سے، انہوں نے ابوحصین سے، انہوں نے شعبی سے اور انہوں نے عاصم العدوی سے روایت کی, کعب بن عجرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَنَحْنُ تِسْعَةٌ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ سَتَكُونُ بَعْدِي أُمَرَاءُ، مَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ، وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ، فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي، وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ، وَلَيْسَ بِوَارِدٍ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ، وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ، فَهُوَ مِنِّي، وَأَنَا مِنْهُ، وَهُوَ وَارِدٌ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس آئے، ہم نو لوگ تھے، آپ نے فرمایا :میرے بعد کچھ امراء ہوں گے، جو ان کے جھوٹ کی تصدیق کرے گا اور ظلم میں ان کی مدد کرے گا وہ میرا نہیں اور نہ میں اس کا ہوں، اور نہ ہی وہ ( قیامت کے دن ) میرے پاس حوض پہ آ سکے گا۔ اور جس نے جھوٹ میں ان کی تصدیق نہیں کی اور ظلم میں ان کی مدد نہیں کی تو وہ میرا ہے اور میں اس کا ہوں اور وہ میرے پاس حوض پر آئے گا ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us, and there were nine of us. He said; 'After me there will be rulers, whoever believes in their lies and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Cistern. Whoever does not believe their lies and does not help them in their wrongdoing, he is of me, and I am of hi, and he will come to me at the Cistern. '
