ہم سے محمد بن المثنی نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے ضحاک بن مخلد نے حنظلہ بن ابی سفیان کی سند سے اور قاسم کی سند سے, ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قال: حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قالت: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ دَعَا بِشَيْءٍ نَحْوِ الْحِلَابِ فَأَخَذَ بِكَفِّهِ بَدَأَ بِشِقِّ رَأْسِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ الْأَيْسَرِ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِكَفَّيْهِ، فَقَالَ بِهِمَا عَلَى رَأْسِهِ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب غسل جنابت کرتے تو دودھ دوہنے کے برتن کی طرح ایک برتن منگاتے، اور اس سے اپنے لپ سے پانی لیتے اور اپنے سر کے داہنے حصہ سے شروع کرتے، پھر بائیں سے، پھر اپنے دونوں لپ سے پانی لیتے، اور انہیں سے اپنے سر پر ڈالتے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed Ghusl from Janabah, he would call for something like a vessel used for milking a she-camel, then he would take (some water) in his hand and start with the right side of his head, then the left, then take (some water) in his hands and start pouring it on his head.
