ہمیں عمرو بن عثمان نے خبر دی، کہا: ہمیں بقیہ نے باہِر سے روایت کیا, خالد بن معدان کہتے ہیں کہ

النص العربي

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بَحِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفَدَ الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْشُدُكَ بِاللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ لُبُوسِ جُلُودِ السِّبَاعِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالرُّكُوبِ عَلَيْهَا ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

مقدام بن معدی کرب رضی اللہ عنہ معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے اور ان سے کہا کہ میں آپ کو اللہ کی قسم دلاتا ہوں۔ کیا آپ جانتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے درندوں کی کھالوں کے لباس پہننے اور ان پر سوار ہونے سے منع فرمایا ہے؟ کہا :ہاں۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

Al-Miqdam bin Ma di Karib رضی اللہ عنہ came to visit Mu awiyah رضی اللہ عنہ and said to him: I adjure you by Allah, do you know that the messenger of Allah forbade wearing the Hides of predators and riding on them? He said: 'yes.
