ہمیں قتیبہ نے خبر دی، کہا: ہم سے حماد نے عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ہے,عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ إِلَّا كَلْبَ صَيْدٍ، أَوْ كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شکاری، یا جانوروں کی رکھوالی کرنے والے کتوں کے سوا باقی کتوں کو مار ڈالنے کا حکم دیا۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that all dogs be killed except dogs used for hunting or herding livestock.
