ہمیں حمید بن مسعدہ نے خبر دی، انہوں نے سفیان — یعنی ابن حبیب — سے، انہوں نے شعبہ سے، انہوں نے قتادہ سے، اور انہوں نے جری بن کلیب سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا:علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، عَنْ سُفَيَانَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ جُرَيِّ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، يَقُولُ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُضَحَّى بِأَعْضَبِ الْقَرْنِ . فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ، إِلَّا عَضَبَ النِّصْفِ، وَأَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ.
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سینگ ٹوٹے جانور کو ذبح کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔ ( راوی قتادہ کہتے ہیں ) :میں نے اس کا ذکر سعید بن مسیب سے کیا تو انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، جس جانور کا آدھا سینگ یا اس سے زیادہ ٹوٹا ہو ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from sacrificing an animal with a broken horn. I (the narrator) mentioned that to Sa'eed bin Al_Musayyab and he said: Yes, m unless half or more of the horn is missing.
