Narrated by It was narrated from Ibn Juraij: Nafi dictated to me, from Ibn 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہما who said:

علی بن میمون نے ہمیں خبر دی، کہا: سفیان نے ہمیں ابن جریج سے روایت کیا، جنہوں نے کہا: نافع نے مجھے املا کرایا, عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَمْلَى عَلَيَّ نَافِعٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا تَبَايَعَ الْبَيِّعَانِ فَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بِالْخِيَارِ مِنْ بَيْعِهِ مَا لَمْ يَفْتَرِقَا،‏‏‏‏ أَوْ يَكُونَ بَيْعُهُمَا عَنْ خِيَارٍ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنْ كَانَ عَنْ خِيَارٍ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْبَيْعُ .

Urdu Translation

اردو

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :جب دو آدمی بیع کریں تو ان میں سے ہر ایک کو اپنی بیع کا اس وقت تک اختیار رہتا ہے جب تک وہ دونوں الگ تھلگ نہ ہوں، یا پھر ان کی بیع میں اختیار کی شرط ہو، تو اگر بیع میں شرط اختیار ہو تو بیع ہو جاتی ہے ( لیکن حق اختیار باقی رہتا ہے ) ۔

English Translation

Meaning of the narration

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'the two parties to a transaction both have the choice so long as they have not separated, unless they have both chosen to conclude the transaction. If they have both chosen to conclude the transaction, then the transactions binding.
