ہم کو قتیبہ بن سعید نے خبر دی، کہا: ہم سے لیث نے بکیر سے، انہوں نے عیاض بن عبداللہ سے بیان کیا,ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: أُصِيبَ رَجُلٌ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثِمَارٍ ابْتَاعَهَا، فَكَثُرَ دَيْنُهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: تَصَدَّقُوا عَلَيْهِ ، فَتَصَدَّقَ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمْ يَبْلُغْ ذَلِكَ وَفَاءَ دَيْنِهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: خُذُوا مَا وَجَدْتُمْ وَلَيْسَ لَكُمْ إِلَّا ذَلِكَ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں ایک شخص کے پھلوں پر جسے اس نے خرید رکھا تھا کوئی آفت آ گئی، چنانچہ اس پر بہت سارا قرض ہو گیا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :اسے خیرات دو، تو لوگوں نے اسے خیرات دی، لیکن خیرات اتنی اکٹھا نہ ہوئی جس سے اس کے تمام قرض کی ادائیگی ہو جاتی تو آپ نے ( اس کے قرض خواہوں سے ) کہا: جو پا گئے ہو وہ لے لو، اس کے علاوہ اب کچھ اور دینا لینا نہیں ہے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
At the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a ma suffered loss of some fruit that he had purchased, and his debts increased. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'give him charity.' So the people gave him charity, but that was not enough to pay of his debts. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Take what you find but you have no right to or than that.
