واقد بن عمرو بن سعد بن معاذ کہتے ہیں کہ

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ وَاقِدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ حِينَ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ ؟ قُلْتُ: أَنَا وَاقِدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَ: إِنَّ سَعْدًا كَانَ أَعْظَمَ النَّاسِ وَأَطْوَلَهُ، ثُمَّ بَكَى فَأَكْثَرَ الْبُكَاءَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَى أُكَيْدِرٍ صَاحِبِ دُومَةَ بَعْثًا، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ بِجُبَّةِ دِيبَاجٍ مَنْسُوجَةٍ فِيهَا الذَّهَبُ، فَلَبِسَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَقَعَدَ، فَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ وَنَزَلَ فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَلْمِسُونَهَا بِأَيْدِيهِمْ، فَقَالَ: أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ هَذِهِ، لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِمَّا تَرَوْنَ .
English Translation
It was narrated that Wafid bin 'Amr bin Sa'd bin Mu'adh said: I entered upon Anas bin Malik when he came to Al-Madinah and greeted him with Salam. He said: 'Where are you from?' I said: 'I am Wafid bin 'Amr bin Sa'd bin Mu'adh.' He said: 'Sa'd was the greatest and most virtuous of people.' Then he wept a great deal, then he said: 'The Messenger of Allah [SAW] sent a delegation to Ukaidir the ruler of Dumah, who sent him a Jubbah made of Ad-Dibaj interwoven with gold. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] put it on, then he stood on the Minbar and sat, without speaking, then he came down and the people started touching it with their hands. He said: 'Are you admiring this? The handkerchiefs of Sa'd in Paradise are more beautiful than what you see.'
Urdu Translation
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ جب مدینے آئے، تو میں ان کے پاس گیا، میں نے انہیں سلام کیا تو انہوں نے کہا: تم کون ہو؟ میں نے کہا: میں واقد بن عمرو بن سعد بن معاذ ہوں، وہ بولے: سعد تو بہت عظیم شخص تھے اور لوگوں میں سب سے لمبے تھے، پھر وہ رو پڑے اور بہت روئے، پھر بولے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دومۃ کے بادشاہ اکیدر کے پاس ایک وفد بھیجا، تو اس نے آپ کے پاس دیبا کا ایک جبہ بھیجا، جس میں سونے کی کاریگری تھی، چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے پہنا، پھر آپ منبر پر کھڑے ہوئے اور بیٹھ گئے، پھر کچھ کہے بغیر اتر گئے، لوگ اسے اپنے ہاتھوں سے چھونے لگے، تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”کیا تمہیں اس پر تعجب ہے؟ سعد کے رومال جنت میں اس سے کہیں زیادہ بہتر ہیں جسے تم دیکھ رہے ہو“ ۱؎۔

It was narrated from 'Aishah that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: Ten things are part of the Fitrah: Trimming the mustache, trimming the nails, washing the joints, letting the beard grow, using the Siwak, rinsing the nose, plucking the armpit hairs, shaving the pubes, and washing with water (after relieving oneself). Mus'ab bin Shaibah said: I have forgotten the tenth, unless it was rinsing the mouth.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ طَلْقًا يَذْكُرُ: عَشْرَةً مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ: السِّوَاكَ، وَقَصَّ الشَّارِبِ، وَتَقْلِيمَ الْأَظْفَارِ، وَغَسْلَ الْبَرَاجِمِ، وَحَلْقَ الْعَانَةِ، وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقَ، وَأَنَا شَكَكْتُ فِي الْمَضْمَضَةِ .
Al-Mu'tamir narrated that his father said: I heard Talq mentioning ten things that have to do with the Fitrah: Using the Siwak, trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, washing the joints, shaving the pubes, rinsing the nose, and I am not sure about rinsing the mouth.
It was narrated that Talq bin Habib said: Ten things are from the Sunnah: Using the Siwak, trimming the mustache, rinsing the mouth, rinsing the nose, letting the beard grow, trimming the nails, plucking the armpit hairs, circumcision, shaving the pubes and washing one's backside.
أخبرنا حميد بن مسعدة عن بشر قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق عن سعيد المقبري عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خمس من الفطرة الختان وحلق العانة ونتف الضبع وتقليم الظفر وتقصير الشارب . وقفه مالك .
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Five things are of the Fitrah: Circumcision, shaving the pubes, plucking the armpit hair, clipping the nails and trimming the mustache.'
