Narrated by: It was narrated that Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا said:
ہم سے اسماعیل بن مسعود نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے شعبہ نے منصور کی سند سے، ابراہیم کی سند سے، اسود سے, ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قالت: كُنْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، فَإِذَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُومَ كَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَقُومَ فَأَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ انْسَلَلْتُ انْسِلَالًا .
English Translation
I was in front of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he was praying, and when I wanted to leave I did not want to get up and pass in front of him, so I just slipped away slowly and quietly.
Urdu Translation
میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے تھی، آپ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے تو جب میں نے اٹھنے کا ارادہ کیا تو مجھے یہ بات ناگوار لگی کہ میں اٹھ کر آپ کے سامنے سے گزروں تو میں دھیرے سے سرک گئی ۔

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik رضی اللہ عنہ that:
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى حِمَارٍ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ وَالْقِبْلَةُ خَلْفَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ: لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ يَحْيَى عَلَى قَوْلِهِ يُصَلِّي عَلَى حِمَارٍ، وَحَدِيثُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ الصَّوَابُ، مَوْقُوفٌ وَاللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ.
He saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) praying on a donkey while he was riding, praying toward Khaibar with the Qiblah behind him. Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: We do not know of anyone who reported anything to support what 'Amr bin Yahya said about praying on a donkey. As for the Hadith of Yahya bin Sa'eed from Anas, what is correct is that it is Mawquf. [1] And Allah knows best. [1] That is a saying or action of a Companion of the Prophet (ﷺ)
Narrated Al Bara bin Azib: Al Bara bin Azib رضی اللہ عنہم said:
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قال: قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَصَلَّى نَحْوَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا، ثُمَّ وُجِّهَ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ، فَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ قَدْ كَانَ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ وُجِّهَ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ، فَانْحَرَفُوا إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ .
The messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to Al-Madinah and prayed toward Bait-al-Maqdis for sixteen months, then he was commanded to pray toward the Ka'bah. A man who had prayed with the prophet (ﷺ)passed by some of the Ansar and said: I bear witness that the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) has been commanded to face toward the Ka'bah. So they turned to face the Ka'bah .
It was narrated that Ibn Umar رضی اللہ عنہم said:
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قال: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فِي السَّفَرِ حَيْثُمَا تَوَجَّهَتْ . قَالَ مَالِكٌ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ: وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ.
The messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray atop his mount while travelling, facing whatever direction it was facing. (One of the narrators) Malik said: Abdullah bin Dinar said: and Ibn Umar رضی اللہ عنہم used to do likewise .
It was narrated that Abdullah رضی اللہ عنہم said:
أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قال: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قال: أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قال: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ قِبَلَ أَيِّ وَجْهٍ تَوَجَّهُ بِهِ وَيُوتِرُ عَلَيْهَا، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ .
The messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray atop his mount while traveling, facing whatever direction it was facing, and he would pray witr atop it, but he did not pray the prescribed prayers atop it .
