لِّيَشْهَدُوا مَنَـٰفِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا ٱسْمَ ٱللَّهِ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَـٰتٍ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّنۢ بَهِيمَةِ ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ ۖ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا ٱلْبَآئِسَ ٱلْفَقِيرَ
تاکہ اپنے فائدے کے کاموں کے لئے حاضر ہوں۔ اور (قربانی کے) ایام معلوم میں چہار پایاں مویشی (کے ذبح کے وقت) جو خدا نے ان کو دیئے ہیں ان پر خدا کا نام لیں۔ اس میں سے تم خود بھی کھاؤ اور فقیر درماندہ کو بھی کھلاؤ
That they may witness [i.e., attend] benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allāh on known [i.e., specific] days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals.1 So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor.
