قَالَ أَلْقُوا ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلْقَوْا سَحَرُوٓا أَعْيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَآءُو بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ
(موسیٰ نے) کہا تم ہی ڈالو۔ جب انہوں نے (جادو کی چیزیں) ڈالیں تو لوگوں کی آنکھوں پر جادو کردیا (یعنی نظربندی کردی) اور (لاٹھیوں اور رسیوں کے سانپ بنا بنا کر) انہیں ڈرا دیا اور بہت بڑا جادو دکھایا
He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic.1
