وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِى هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا
اور ہم نے اس قرآن میں طرح طرح کی باتیں بیان کی ہیں تاکہ لوگ نصیحت پکڑیں گے۔ مگر وہ اس سے اور بدک جاتے ہیں
And We have certainly diversified [the contents] in this Qur’ān that they [i.e., mankind] may be reminded, but it does not increase them [i.e., the disbelievers] except in aversion.

اس پاک کتاب میں ہم نے تمام مثالیں کھول کھول کر بیان فرما دی ہیں۔ وعدے وعید صاف طور پر مذکور ہیں تاکہ لوگ برائیوں سے اور اللہ کی نافرمانیوں سے بچیں۔ لیکن تاہم ظالم لوگ تو حق سے نفرت رکھنے اور اس سے دور بھاگنے میں ہی بڑھ رہے ہیں۔
