ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ نے مالک کی سند سے، یحییٰ بن سعید سے، محمد بن یحییٰ بن حبان سے، اپنے چچا واسع بن حبان کی سند سے بیان کیا, عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: لَقَدِ ارْتَقَيْتُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْبَيْتِ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ لِحَاجَتِهِ .
Urdu Translation
( ایک روز ) میں ( کسی ضرورت سے ) گھر کی چھت پر چڑھا تو میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو قضائے حاجت ( پیشاب و پاخانہ ) کے لیے دو اینٹوں پر اس طرح بیٹھے دیکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا رخ بیت المقدس کی طرف تھا ۱؎۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
I ascended the roof of the house and saw the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم sitting on two bricks facing Jerusalem (Bait al-Maqdis) for relieving himself.
