Narrated by: Abdullah bin Jafar رضی اللہ عنہما said:
ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، ہم سے مہدی نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابن ابی یعقوب نے بیان کیا، ان سے حسن بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ جو کہ حسن بن علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے مؤکل تھے,عبداللہ بن جعفر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: أَرْدَفَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَلْفَهُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَأَسَرَّ إِلَيَّ حَدِيثًا لَا أُحَدِّثُ بِهِ أَحَدًا مِنَ النَّاسِ، وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ مَا اسْتَتَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِحَاجَتِهِ هَدَفًا أَوْ حَائِشَ نَخْلٍ، قَالَ: فَدَخَلَ حَائِطًا لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ الأَنْصَارِ فَإِذَا جَمَلٌ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَنَّ وَذَرَفَتْ عَيْنَاهُ فَأَتَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَسَحَ ذِفْرَاهُ فَسَكَتَ فَقَالَ: مَنْ رَبُّ هَذَا الْجَمَلِ لِمَنْ هَذَا الْجَمَلُ ؟ فَجَاءَ فَتًى مِنْ الأَنْصَارِ، فَقَالَ لِي: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ: أَفَلَا تَتَّقِي اللَّهَ فِي هَذِهِ الْبَهِيمَةِ الَّتِي مَلَّكَكَ اللَّهُ إِيَّاهَا فَإِنَّهُ شَكَى إِلَيَّ أَنَّكَ تُجِيعُهُ وَتُدْئِبُهُ .
English Translation
“The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم seated me behind him (on his ride) one day, and told me secretly a thing asking me not to tell it to anyone. The place for easing dearer to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was a mound or host of palm trees by which he could conceal himself. He entered the garden of a man from the Ansar (Helpers). All of a sudden when a Camel saw the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم it wept tenderly producing yearning sound and it eyes flowed. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم came to it and wiped the temple of its head. So it kept silence. He then said “Who is the master of this Camel? Whose Camel is this? A young man from the Ansar came and said “This is mine, Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. ” He said “Don’t you fear Allah about this beast which Allah has given in your possession. It has complained to me that you keep it hungry and load it heavily which fatigues it. ”
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے ایک دن اپنے پیچھے سوار کیا پھر مجھ سے چپکے سے ایک بات کہی جسے میں کسی سے بیان نہیں کروں گا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بشری ضرورت کے تحت چھپنے کے لیے دو جگہیں بہت ہی پسند تھیں، یا تو کوئی اونچا مقام، یا درختوں کا جھنڈ، ایک بار آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کسی انصاری کے باغ میں تشریف لے گئے تو سامنے ایک اونٹ نظر آیا جب اس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا تو رونے لگا اور اس کی آنکھوں سے آنسو بہنے لگے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کے پاس آئے، اس کے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرا تو وہ خاموش ہو گیا، اس کے بعد پوچھا: یہ اونٹ کس کا ہے؟ ایک انصاری جوان آیا، وہ کہنے لگا: اللہ کے رسول! میرا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا تم ان جانوروں کے سلسلے میں جن کا اللہ نے تمہیں مالک بنایا ہے اللہ سے نہیں ڈرتے، اس اونٹ نے مجھ سے شکایت کی ہے کہ تو اس کو بھوکا مارتا اور تھکاتا ہے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيّ: أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْهِجْرَةِ، فَقَالَ: وَيْحَكَ إِنَّ شَأْنَ الْهِجْرَةِ شَدِيدٌ فَهَلْ لَكَ مِنْ إِبِلٍ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَهَلْ تُؤَدِّي صَدَقَتَهَا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَاعْمَلْ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْبِحَارِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَنْ يَتِرَكَ مِنْ عَمَلِكَ شَيْئًا .
“A Bedouin asked the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم about emigration. He replied “Woe to you! The matter of emigration is severe. Have you a Camel? He said, Yes. He asked “Do you pay its zakat? He said, Yes. He said, Then work (anywhere) beyond the seas. Allah will not reduce anything from (the reward of) your work.
Miqdan bin Shuraih reported on the authority of his father:
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ ابْنَا أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عنها عَنِ الْبَدَاوَةِ، فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبْدُو إِلَى هَذِهِ التِّلَاعِ وَإِنَّهُ أَرَادَ الْبَدَاوَةَ مَرَّةً فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ نَاقَةً مُحَرَّمَةً مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ لِي: يَا عَائِشَةُ ارْفُقِي فَإِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا نُزِعَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا شَانَهُ .
I asked Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا about settling in the desert (to worship Allah in loneliness). She said “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم would go out (from Madina) to these torrential streams. Once he intended to go out to the desert (for worshipping Allaah). He sent me a She-Camel from the Camels of sadaqah that was not used as a mount. He said to me “Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا be lenient, for leniency makes a thing decorated and when it is removed from a thing it makes it defective.
Narrated Muawiyah رضی اللہ عنہ :
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الرَّازِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى، عَنْ حَرِيزِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: لَا تَنْقَطِعُ الْهِجْرَةُ حَتَّى تَنْقَطِعَ التَّوْبَةُ، وَلَا تَنْقَطِعُ التَّوْبَةُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا .
I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say: Migration will not end until repentance ends, and repentance will not end until the sun rises in the west.
Ibn Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما reported:
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ لَا هِجْرَةَ وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ وَإِذَا اسْتُنْفِرْتُمْ فَانْفِرُوا .
Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying on the day of the conquest of Makkah: There is no emigration (after the conquest of Makkah, but only Jihad (striving in the path of Allah) and some intention. So when you are summoned to go forth (for Jihad), go forth.
