ہم سے ہشام بن عمار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، وہ عبد الحمید بن جبیر بن شیبہ کی سند سے, محمد بن عباد بن جعفر کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَأَنَا أَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ، أَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ؟، قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ .
Urdu Translation
میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے خانہ کعبہ کے طواف کے دوران پوچھا :کیا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جمعہ کے دن روزہ رکھنے سے منع فرمایا ہے؟ کہا: ہاں، اس گھر کے رب کی قسم!۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
“While I was circumambulating the House, I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah رضی اللہ عنہما : ‘Did the Prophet (ﷺ) forbid fasting on a Friday?’ He said: ‘Yes, by the Lord of this House.’”
