Narrated by It was narrated that Wathilah bin Asqa' رضی اللہ عنہ said:
ہم سے عبد الوہاب بن ضحاک نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے بقیہ بن ولید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے معاویہ بن یحییٰ سے، مکول اور سلیمان بن موسیٰ سے, واثلہ بن اسقع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: مَنْ بَاعَ عَيْبًا لَمْ يُبَيِّنْهُ لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي مَقْتِ مِنَ اللَّهِ، وَلَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَلْعَنُهُ .
Urdu Translation
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا :جو کوئی عیب دار چیز بیچے اور اس کے عیب کو بیان نہ کرے، تو وہ برابر اللہ تعالیٰ کے غضب میں رہے گا، اور فرشتے اس پر برابر لعنت کرتے رہیں گے ۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Whoever sells defective goods without pointing it out, he will remain subject to the wrath of Allah, and the angels will continue to curse him.'
