Narrated by It was narrated from Abu Hurairah رضی الله عنہ that:
مجھ سے محمد بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد بن اسماء نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہم سے جویریہ نے مالک کی سند سے بیان کیا۔ الزہری نے کہا: مجھ سے ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن اور حمید بن عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا, ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :جس نے رمضان میں ایمان کے ساتھ ثواب کی نیت سے قیام اللیل کیا، یعنی نماز تراویح پڑھی اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دئیے جائیں گے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Whoever spends the night of Ramadan in prayer (Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins. '
