علی بن حجر نے ہمیں خبر دی، کہا: اسماعیل نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: العلاء نے ہم سے بیان کیا، اپنے والد سے, ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، وَعِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، وَوَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :جب انسان مر جاتا ہے تو اس کا عمل بھی ختم ہو جاتا ہے سوائے تین عمل کے ( جن سے اسے مرنے کے بعد بھی فائدہ پہنچتا ہے ) ایک صدقہ جاریہ، دوسرا علم جس سے لوگ فائدہ اٹھائیں ، تیسرا نیک اور صالح بیٹا جو اس کے لیے دعا کرتا رہے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When a man dies all his good deeds come to an end except three: Ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who prays for him.
