أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَطَّانُ الرَّقِّيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ مُنْذُ حِينٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَخْبَرَتْنِي مَيْمُونَةُ، أَنَّ شَاةً مَاتَتْ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَلَّا دَفَعْتُمْ إِهَابَهَا، فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهِ .
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ایک بکری مر گئی، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :کیا تم لوگوں نے اس کی کھال نہیں اتاری کہ اس سے فائدہ اٹھاتے۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
Maimunah رضی اللہ عنہا told me that a sheep died, and the Prophet said: 'Why don't you tan its skin and make use of it'?
