Narrated by Rafi bin Khadij and Sahl Bi Abi Hathamah رضی اللہ عنہما narrated that:
ہمیں الحسین بن عیسیٰ نے خبر دی، کہا: ہمیں ابو اسامہ نے بیان کیا، کہا: مجھے الولید بن کثیر نے بیان کیا، کہا: مجھے بشیر بن یسار نے خبر دی , رافع بن خدیج اور سہل بن ابی حثمہ رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي بُشَيْرُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ، وَسَهْلَ بْنَ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ حَدَّثَاهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ بَيْعُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ، إِلَّا لِأَصْحَابِ الْعَرَايَا فَإِنَّهُ أَذِنَ لَهُمْ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیع مزابنہ سے منع فرمایا، یعنی :درخت کے پھل کو توڑے ہوئے پھل سے بیچنا، سوائے اصحاب عرایا کے، آپ نے انہیں اس کی اجازت دی۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Muzabanah, which means selling fresh dates still on the tree for dried dates, except in cases of 'Araya, for which he gave permission.
