وَٱلَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ ٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ فَٱجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَـٰنِينَ جَلْدَةً وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا لَهُمْ شَهَـٰدَةً أَبَدًا ۚ وَأُولَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ
اور جو لوگ پرہیزگار عورتوں کو بدکاری کا عیب لگائیں اور اس پر چار گواہ نہ لائیں تو ان کو اسی درے مارو اور کبھی ان کی شہادت قبول نہ کرو۔ اور یہی بدکردار ہیں
And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses - lash them with eighty lashes and do not accept from them testimony ever after. And those are the defiantly disobedient,

تہمت لگانے والے مجرم ٭٭ جو لوگ کسی عورت پر یا کسی مرد پر زناکاری کی تہمت لگائیں اور ثبوت نہ دے سکیں، تو انہیں اسی کوڑے لگائے جائیں گے، ہاں اگر شہادت پیش کر دیں تو حد سے بچ جائیں گے اور جن پر جرم ثابت ہوا ہے ان پر حد جاری کی جائے گی۔ اگر شہادت نہ پیش کر سکے تو اسی کوڑے بھی لگیں گے...
