وَإِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَقْصُرُوا مِنَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ إِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَن يَفْتِنَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا ۚ إِنَّ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ كَانُوا لَكُمْ عَدُوًّا مُّبِينًا
اور جب تم سفر کو جاؤ تو تم پر کچھ گناہ نہیں کہ نماز کو کم کرکے پڑھو بشرطیکہ تم کو خوف ہو کہ کافر لوگ تم کو ایذا دیں گے بےشک کافر تمہارے کھلے دشمن ہیں
And when you travel throughout the land, there is no blame upon you for shortening the prayer,1 [especially] if you fear that those who disbelieve may disrupt [or attack] you.2 Indeed, the disbelievers are ever to you a clear enemy.

صلوۃ قصر ؟ ٭٭ فرمان الٰہی ہے کہ تم کہیں سفر میں جا رہے ہو۔ یہی الفاظ سفر کے لیے سورۃ مزمل میں بھی آئے ہیں «عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرْضَىٰ ۙ وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّـهِ» [73-المزمل:20] ۔ تو تم پر نماز کی تخفیف کرنے میں کوئی گناہ نہی...
