ہمیں قتیبہ بن سعید نے خبر دی، کہا: ہمیں فضیل نے عبیداللہ سے، اور انہوں نے نافع سے روایت کیا, عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ لَهُ شَيْءٌ يُوصَى فِيهِ أَنْ يَبِيتَ لَيْلَتَيْنِ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ عِنْدَهُ .
Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا :کسی مسلمان کے لیے جس کے پاس کوئی ایسی چیز ہو جس میں اسے وصیت کرنی ضروری ہو مناسب نہیں کہ وہ دو راتیں ایسی گزارے جس میں اس کے پاس اس کی لکھی ہوئی وصیت موجود نہ ہو۔
English Translation
Meaning of the narration
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It is not befitting for a Muslim who has anything concerning which a will should be made, to abide for two nights without having a written will with him.'
