Ayah 102:1
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ١
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
Ayah 102:2
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ٢
Until you visit the graveyards.1
Ayah 102:3
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ٣
No! You are going to know.
Ayah 102:4
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ٤
Then, no! You are going to know.
Ayah 102:5
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ٥
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...1
Ayah 102:6
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ٦
You will surely see the Hellfire.
Ayah 102:7
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ٧
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.1
Ayah 102:8
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ٨
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.1
