الهُمَزَةِ

Ayah 104:1
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ١
Woe to every scorner and mocker
Ayah 104:2
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ٢
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.1
Ayah 104:3
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ٣
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
Ayah 104:4
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ٤
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.1
Ayah 104:5
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ٥
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?
Ayah 104:6
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ٦
It is the fire of Allāh, [eternally] fueled,
Ayah 104:7
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ٧
Which mounts directed at the hearts.1
Ayah 104:8
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ٨
Indeed, it [i.e., Hellfire] will be closed down upon them

فِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ٩
